All Dental Disciplines

There are nine dental disciplines, or specialties, that are recognized by the American Dental Association. At Stanley Dentistry we are proud to offer service in all nine areas:

The difference at Stanley Dentistry

Offering services in all nine disciplines is a unique quality among dental practices, and it means that you can receive comprehensive, quality dental care from one caregiver. This will not only make your dental care more convenient for the entire family but also improve the quality of care through unified treatments.

As shown through the image on the left, most other general dentists just touch on each of the nine areas of dentistry, but don't have the breadth of training and experience to allow them address a patient's needs in all areas. Traditional general dentists focus on general oral health and refer their patients to a specialist should they need treatment beyond their area of expertise. With our focus on continuing education and advanced training, we are able to offer more services to our patients that other dentists would need to refer out for such as:

  • orthodontics
  • pediatric dentistry
  • cosmetic dentistry
  • dental implants
  • wisdom tooth removal
  • and more.

stanley-dentistry-disciplines-expanded-expertiseSince we offer such a wide range of services we can take care of the great majority of your entire family's dental needs, all at one practice. Not only that, but you will have only one practice coordinating with your insurance provider, making your life that much easier!

You will receive improved quality of care because we will be more familiar with your specific dental needs and history, having provided you with a broader range of dental services. We are intimately involved in your dental care. This higher level of involvement and knowledge leads to a higher level of care for you! If in the event we do refer you to one of our dental specialist partners, it will be to one that we trust and have worked with in the past. We will still be heavily involved in any procedure, by maintaining clear communication with our partners, and ensuring that your care is the highest priority.
