Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is the replacement or augmentation of the bone around the teeth. Stanley Dentistry performs bone grafting in the office to help patients that are missing bone or gum tissue near their teeth. Bone grafting is performed to fix the bone loss caused by periodontal disease, a trauma, or dentures that do not fit.

Implant-Supported Dentures

Implant supported dentures are a type of overdenture that is supported and attached to implants. Regular dentures sit on the gums and are not supported by implants.

Implant supported dentures are used when a patient does not have any teeth in their jaw but they have enough bone to support the implants.

They are typically made for the lower jaw. Regular dentures are not as stable in the lower jaw so it is a great place for implant supported dentures.

Partials

Stanley Dentistry offers partials to patients that are only missing some of their teeth. Partials are a good option for patients not wanting a complete set of dentures.

Dentures

Stanley Dentistry offers complete dentures for patients who have no teeth remaining. The teeth are made from prefabricated acrylic. They come in many different shapes, shades and sizes. The dentures are processed into a custom base that is made to fit the gum tissue in your mouth.

Soft-Tissue Dentures

Stanley Dentistry is pleased to offer soft-tissue dentures. These types of dentures are made from soft tissue, not from the implants.

Neuromuscular Dentistry/TMD

Why does temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) cause headaches?

When your muscles are continuously contracting due to a misaligned jaw joint, the muscle fibers enlarge and build tension or pressure in the face, neck, jaw and shoulders. The tension confines the blood flow to the area. In response, the body, sends more blood, increasing blood pressure in the head and causing these tension headaches. Likewise, when you grind your teeth, which is another symptom of TMD, muscles are made tense and get worn out, which can also lead to your headaches.

Implant Restoration

In the event that the ceramic tooth on a dental implant cracks or breaks, Stanley Dentistry can restore it and replace it to keep your smile healthy, attractive, and strong.

Full Mouth Restoration

Full mouth restoration (FMR) is the individual recreation of each tooth in your mouth. FMR is needed when the teeth are worn down, broken or missing, causing problems in both the function of your bite and the appearance of your smile.

Stanley Dentistry can completely rejuvenate your mouth, creating a healthy, beautiful smile in just two to three visits. Not only will your smile be restored to health and beauty, but also your jaw will be returned to its optimal position for comfort and function.

Dental Crowns/ Same Day Crowns

CEREC has revolutionized the way we create and apply ceramic restorations, including crowns, onlays and veneers. This amazing system takes a digital image of your tooth and then mills a custom restoration from a solid ceramic block in just a few minutes. We can then place the restoration as soon as it’s done. There’s no impressions, no temporaries, no waiting for a lab to make and send the restoration, no concerns about an incorrect fit and no second visit!

Dental Veneers

Stanley Dentistry offers porcelain veneers to patients. Porcelain veneers are thin sheets of ceramic that bond directly to the front of the teeth. Porcelain veneers at Stanley Dentistry are a good option because of their ability to improve your smile. When bonded to the teeth, they are near impossible to detect and highly resistant to foods and drinks that stain the teeth. For strength and appearance, their similarity to healthy, white tooth enamel is unrivaled by other restorative options.
