Diagnostic X-ray imaging is made better by Sirona’s technology. The technology helps in the fields of implantology, endodontics, periodontics, oral/maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics. The tools available in the Galileos software allow for a reduced risk in treatments, helps to plan surgical interventions, aids in the coordination treatment planning and the software helps to explain treatment to patients with accuracy and clarity.
The imaging, created by the new Cone Beam technology, goes beyond traditional diagnostics and treatments by calculating a large volume 3D image set. The technology does more than 200 exposures in one, low-dose 3D scan that lasts less than 15 seconds. The 3D images are displayed in high quality and they enable clear navigation and diagnosis via traditional panoramic, cephalometric, and cross-sectional display.
