Dr. Robert Stanley
Dr. Robert Stanley’s professional career began as a Mechanical & Aerospace engineer. He received his BS, MS and PhD from North Carolina State University in engineering with a concentration in control theory. He then received his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He is a Diplomat with the International College of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), certified in Oral, IV and Conscious Sedation and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Raleigh-Wake Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
As a dentist and an engineer, Dr. Robert Stanley has the unique ability to understand and share his understanding of biomechanics as it applies to the daily implementation of dental implants.
Dr. Robert Stanley has extensive experience in implant surgery, as well as, advanced bone and soft tissue grafting. His implementation of 3D CBCT technology with guided dental implant surgery and guided sinus lift surgery makes planning and placing dental implants predictable and successful. Dr. Stanley is a lifelong learner and enjoys sharing his passion for engineering and dentistry as the co-founder and continuing education (CE) instructor at The Stanley Institute.
Dr. Bobbi Stanley
Dr. Bobbi Stanley, a North Carolina native, received her dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993. She immediately opened her Cary, North Carolina dental office with her husband, Dr. Robert Stanley, and has grown it into one of the most successful, comprehensive dental practices in North Carolina.
She is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD), a Diplomat in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (DICOI) and a Fellow in the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). She is also a fellow in the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO).
She is a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO), the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO) and is a Qualified Member of the Crown Council.
Additionally, Dr. Stanley is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Academy of Women Dentists (AAWD) and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS).
Dr. Bobbi is an instructor at The Stanley Institute for Comprehensive Dentistry in Cary and a Senior Instructor at the International Association of Orthodontics (IAO) in Milwaukee Wisconsin and the Facial Beauty Institute in Memphis. She has lectured nationally in the areas of dental implants, implant restorations, cosmetics, orthodontics and practice management.
Zebulon Thomeczek MSN, CRNA
Zeb completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduation, he spent several years on staff specializing in open-heart surgery recovery in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. In preparation for his Masters in Nursing, Zeb spent several years training in the Medical, Neuro, and Surgical Intensive Units as well as lead RN for in-house Rapid Response/Code Team.
Zeb began his Master coursework at Duke University School of Nursing Anesthesia in January 2008 and graduated as a member of Sigma Theta Tau in May 2010; he obtained his board certification in Nursing Anesthesia in June of 2010. Since graduating, Zeb has served as a pediatric anesthesia specialist for the University of Missouri-Columbia’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and as a practitioner and Assistant Chief Nurse Anesthetist for Duke University. In January of 2016, Zeb stepped down from his administrative role at Duke University to return to the clinical environment and to the job he loves.
Zeb has been working with Stanley Dentistry since December 2012, and has recently accepted a position of full-time employment as their primary anesthetist; he continues to work with Dr. Robert Stanley to develop and refine techniques for safe anesthesia administration in office-based settings. At the encouragement of Stanley Dentistry, Zeb maintains clinical employment with Duke University to continue competencies in advanced airway and emergency management protocols.
Zeb is Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified.
Gayle Banic, CDA
Gayle attended Indiana University of South Bend and completed the School of Dentistry’s Certified Dental Assisting Program in 1995. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with over two decades experience. Additionally, she serves as the Implant Coordinator and CEREC team professional for Stanley Dentistry in Cary NC.
Gayle is certified by Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) in aesthetics and TMJ disorders. She is Invisalign certified and has held a CEREC certification since 1995.
She is a Fellow of the Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries (ADIA), a member of the American Dental Assisting Association (ADAA) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Brenda Alexander, CDA
Brenda attended West Virginia University and graduated from the Dental Assisting program. She is a Certified Dental Assistant and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with four decades experience in dentistry. Her areas of expertise include orthodontics and Temperomandibular Joint (TMJ) neuromuscular therapy.
Brenda is certified by Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) in aesthetics, TMJ disorders and orthodontics and completed the Advanced Concepts and Techniques in Orthodontics coursework with Dr. William Wyatt and Dr. Larry White through the American Orthodontic Society (AOS).
She is Invisalign and CEREC certified and a member of the American Orthodontic Society (AOS), The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management and the NC CEREC Users Study Club.
Dr. Dania Tamimi | Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist
Dr. Dania Tamimi graduated with a dental degree from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1999. She trained at Harvard University, School of Dental Medicine and earned a doctorate of medical science (DMSc) and certificate of fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology in 2005. She is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR).
She is a reviewer and an Editorial Board member for Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology (OOOO). She is the lead author on “Specialty Imaging: Dental Implants”, a new radiology book that bridges the gap between the clinical implantologist and the radiologist, and a co-author on “Diagnostic Imaging, Oral and Maxillofacial”. She is also Director of Education at the Institute of Advanced Maxillofacial Imaging (IAMI), the educational arm for BeamReaders, Inc.
She currently runs her oral radiology private practice in Orlando, Florida.
