Implant-Supported Dentures in Cary and Holly Springs, NC

Implant supported dentures are a type of overdenture that is supported and attached to implants. Regular dentures sit on the gums and are not supported by implants.

Implant supported dentures are used when a patient does not have any teeth in their jaw but they have enough bone to support the implants.

They are typically made for the lower jaw. Regular dentures are not as stable in the lower jaw so it is a great place for implant supported dentures.

Implant supported dentures should be removed daily to clean the denture and gum area. Dentures are not meant to be slept in. Regular dentures and implant supported dentures should be removed before sleep.
