Continuing Excellence in Dental Implant Surgery
Drs. Robert and Bobbi Stanley traveled with Dental Implant Coordinator Gayle Banic to San Francisco CA for the Summer Implant Symposium of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries (ADIA) August 14-16. This year’s program was “Knowledge Above Opinion” and offered up to 20 continuing education credits with many of the industry’s most well-respected dentists attending and presenting. Lectures from Dr. Avi Schetritt, Dr. Jack Krauser and Dr. Ady Palti were among the highlights of the conference. It was an honor to meet Dr. Gerard Scortecci, ICOI President as well.

After a full day of classes on Friday, Dr. Robert Stanley hosted a tabletop presentation, “Guided Bone Regeneration with Infuse-Case Presentation” at the evening reception. Drs. Stanley were pleased with the response and fielded dozens of questions from colleagues regarding the presentation. It was by far the most popular presentation.

Saturday morning, Dr. Robert Stanley completed the final step for ICOI Diplomate credentialing, a one-hour oral exam. While challenging, Dr. Rob impressed the panel with his thorough knowledge of complex progressive implant techniques and clear experience with complicated procedures. Dr. Jon Suzuki said, “You crushed your exam!” and Dr. Ady Palti stated, “You did a good job. If you are interested in teaching, you have my endorsement.”
