Drs. Robert & Bobbi Stanley attended the BioHorizons Global Symposium April 16 – 18 in Los Angeles, California. This invitation only, bi-annual event brought leaders in implant dentistry from around the world.  The symposium, Defining the Future of Implant Technology: From Concept to Practice, featured the latest advancements and techniques in dental implants. Over the course of three days, Drs. Stanley enjoyed breakout sessions with Dental Implant pioneers including, Dr. Michael Pikos, Dr. Carl Misch and Dr. Dennis Tarnow. Dr. Pikos is renowned for his use of advanced bone grafting tech immediate full arch reconstruction. Dr. Rob enjoyed the lecture and is excited to provide additional treatment options that will simplify the implant process while reducing cost for patients.  Dr. Carl Misch of the Misch Implant Institute is one of the earliest innovators in dental implants and is well known for his dental implant research.  Dr. Dennis Tarnow has been at the forefront of dental implant research for decades, is an accomplished author on the subject and is currently Director of Implant Education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Stanley Dentistry has been placing dental implants for over 10 years and will celebrate 20 years of implant restoration this year. Drs. Stanley both strive to be leaders in their field and were honored to be invited to the prestigious event. Dr. Bobbi Stanley particularly enjoyed Dr. Pikos lecture on immediate guided full arch restorations and said, “Implant dentistry has come so far in the last 10 years. With the use of guided surgery, we can place implants with precision which allows us to give the patient a full arch of teeth on the day of surgery”.  The weekend concluded with a group dinner and gala, which was the perfect time to make professional connections with colleagues from across the globe.
