No More TMJ Pain

No More TMJ Pain

Why did you decide to come to Stanley Dentistry?

“I needed to find a dentist who could take care of my TMJ with braces and then be able to fix my bite afterward. I lived with pain for probably ten years. Headaches and pain in my neck. I didn’t know it was from my jaw. I went to doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists and I was just at my wit’s end when I discovered that it was actually all TMJ related.

What was your experience at Stanley Dentistry like?

This has been amazing. I can get up in the morning without being in pain and I exercise now. I’m just a more cheerful person with my kids. It’s been wonderful.

Would you recommend Stanley Dentistry?

I would absolutely recommend this office because they can do everything from the very beginning, of getting you into an orthotic that works, but then they can do all the way up to the end of your treatment. So you don’t have to go anywhere else.

Ready to live pain-free?

If you’re suffering from severe, chronic headaches and neck pain, your jaw may be the root of your problems. The temporomandibular joint connects the jaw to the temporal bones of the skull. Without this very important joint, you wouldn’t be able to talk, eat, or open your mouth at all. It’s an incredible joint but because we use it so often, it frequently becomes dysfunctional, resulting in chronic pain. The pain that comes from TMJ can spread throughout the head and neck so sometimes patients do not realize that they’re experiencing TMJ pain until they have an exam.

If you’re tired of chronic pain ruling your life, come into our office for a TMJ evaluation. My team and I are experts on TMJ and we’ll do our best to accurately diagnose you and give you the treatment you need.
